I've always loved fishing the Vedder. It doesn't matter if it's for Salmon, Trout or Whitefish, to me it's worth a trip just to discover new holes on the river, even if there are no fish ;D Good post Ryank21!

I voted for the Cap. Mainly because its relatively close to my house. I can leave my driveway and be fishing cable pool in about 25min. I've learned allot on this river so I have good memories. I like the Vedder too but its about 150km away from my driveway and thats way too far for a newbie to travel just to come back empty handed. I only go to the Vedder during runs and with friends, twice a year max. The gas money to get out there is just too much. ;D The Cap is great, it has a good run of fish and I've never had any problems with people there, only good times. BCfisher The upper Capilano and fish hatchery.

My fist choice is the Squamish and then the Cap right behind that.

I have always enjoyed the Harrison River the best--BUT--now there are so many guides takeing so many clients to fish the river for me the fun is gone--right or wrong--that is everyones own personal opinion--all I know is that for the fun of going to that river for a days outing is now gone-I for one ,do not go fishing to fight or argue with anyone-but some of my fondest memories were experienced on that river-also the way that they changed the parking at the Kilby launching ramp did not do anything for the solo angler--it seems to me that there are getting less and less spots where a person can take his family or even his grand children out to enjoy the outdoors and just maybe throw a few rocks and have a weenie roast--harley--
